Where Children and parents can discuss their thinking, ideas and the world!
Last week, one of my students brought a book he had borrowed from he library about fall. He was so excited to share it with me and his class that I immediately read it. The book is Mystery Vine by Cathryn Falwell. I think you would enjoy reading it with your child. Luke borrowed it from the Paramus Library. If you would like to purchase it, below is the book on amazon.com or you can go to our local Barnes & Noble. At the end of the book, there is a recipe for Pumpkin Apple Bread-see photo below. I told the children I would bake it that night. Here is the result, I took pictures of the steps which you can see below. The bread was delicious and nutritious! My family loved it. The next day, I brought it into Luke's classroom and they all "tasted it with their noses". I hope you enjoy the book and the recipe. Happy baking!

How terribly exciting to get your comment! We constantly refer to your book. Many of my students have baked your bread and yes. I will be making it for Thanksgiving. You have truly given me such a thrill! It is so amazing to have a response from an author. It makes our work so much more rewarding. Thank you for your hard work and love of words.
