We are beginning to talk about the different things that happen in winter. Please look at the Winter Learning tabs and discuss the new words with your child in your own language. We hope that you will be doing many of the things we are learning in class. All the children are very excited about playing in the snow, making snowmen, snowangels and having hot cocoa with marshmallows. If possible, try to share some of these things with your child.
We will be learning how to do a variety of things. Would you like to come in and teach us something you are an expert at? Please contact me by email. |
Monica SchneeI teach English learners. My passions are early childhood, literacy, advocacy and bilingualism. I believe that deep thinking has no one specific language. When we teach our students a new language we are empowering them to use it to convey their thinking. As a parent advocate, I am devoted to working with the parent community to help our students succeed. Use my website and the blog to support your child's learning. Archives
