Lunar New Year: The Year of the Dragon
Every year, we celebrate the Lunar New Year. During the Celebration of the Year of the Dragon, our Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean students taught us lots of great facts and shared many traditions. We asked all our parents, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, Greek, Dominican, Taiwanese, Argentine, Turkish, Indian and Arab to join us in the celebrations and also to contribute a special dish from their countries. We sung Gung Hay Fat Choy to welcome the new year.
Here are some comments from the party:
It was the best day ever! I felt so proud of me when I sang in front of all those people and kids. I think we should have this party because we had so much fun! I ate cookie, chocolate and more. I ate so many foods so my tummy was full of foods.
