Our Peace Book

We wanted to celebrate the spirit of joy and peace during this holiday season. We felt that we should do this by talking about one subject which is essential to all of us In our multicultural and diverse classroom. Our Kindergarten class read The Peace Book by Todd Parr and was inspired to take on many discussions about what peace means to us. The children went home, discussed what peace means to each of them with their parents and wrote their thoughts in their own language. Please enjoy our book and reflect on what peace means to you. We would love to hear what you think of our book. Please post a comment on our ELL Parent Blog. Have a peaceful and healthy 2012!
