Suggested Books - for parents and children to read together
Our Favorite Children's Books
All of these books are fiction or stories. They have characters, people of animals, settings, where and when the story happens, events and many have problems and solutions. They all have a beginning, a middle and an end. As you read these stories or any other story, please ask your child about characters, setting and the other elements in the story.
If you do not have these books, you may borrow them from our classroom library, the school library, the town library or purchase them at a bookstore. If you can't read them in English, use the pictures to create your own story in your native language!
